Description / What’s included?
Watts Manufacture's warranty comes with a complete parts coverage. For the Watts Permanent soffit product this covers defective bulbs, controllers and power assemblies. If there are any issues in relation to these, contact Watts and we will make arrangements to verify the problem and get it fixed for you. Some examples of issues that are covered under this warranty are;
Dead or defective bulbs. If a bulb is not turning on or the colour is off from the rest of the system.
The power supply isn’t powering on anymore
A dead controller
How can I fix a warrantable issue with my Watts product?
All you have to do is contact your local company that installed your system. If required, they will reach out to us for extra support. If you do not know your original dealer, please contact us directly. At Watts discretion new parts can be issued directly to your dealer to solve the issue. If the problem is deemed from anything but a failure in the system a service charge may be applicable.
What details do I need to know?
Each Watts product has their own warranty term length. Some products hold a 1-year warranty and some hold up to a 5-year warranty. Coverage begins on the date of your installation. To find the specific warranty term for each individual product, please visit the product pages on this website.
What Does this Warranty not Cover?
Watts Warranty does not cover:
Damage from negligence or misuse of the product.
Any and all damages to the aluminum track housing.
Theft or loss of the product.
Damage of a product resulting from unauthorized modification of the product.
Damage of a product resulting from unauthorized maintenance on the product.
Service appointments relating to Wi-Fi issues from a customer’s house. I.E new router or a bad network.
Damage caused by a natural disaster or acts of God. E.G Rain, Hail damage, Hurricanes, Tornados, Lighting Damage, Fires, etc.
Damage caused by rodents/other animals or digging and damaging underground lines.
Accidental physical damage to ground spikes or mounts.
Accidental damages, such as spikes in electricity.
Upgrades to newer versions of the system in the future.
