Watts 2.0 – Find your Firmware & App Versions

In the Watts 2.0 system, we make it super easy for you to find your Firmware and App versions in case you are doing some troubleshooting or just want to make sure you have the latest version. For you Beta testers, this is a really important feature to know which version you are testing.

First, let's understand the difference between "Firmware Version" and "App Version".

• Firmware Version
  The firmware version is the version of the software that lives on the actual controller. We always do our best to provide backward compatibility between apps and firmware but sometimes, especially for security, we have to force an update. The Firmware Version will always tell you which version of the software is actually installed on your physical WATTS controller.
  
  
• App Version
  The App version is the version of the iOS or Android app that is installed on your device (such as your phone or tablet). This version can also be maintained through the App Store on iOS and the Google Play store on Android.

The App Version can be found on the slideout panel on any screen of the app. The slide-out panel is used for many different functions but no matter where you access it from, you will always see the latest version of the app at the bottom, with the build number.
