Can I add my Watts 2.0 system to more than one account?
While you can only pair your controller to 1 account at time, you CAN share your account with more than 1 account at a time.
The most common reason for people wanting their Watts 2.0 system on more than 2 accounts, is for a husband and wife to share control.
This is very easy to accomplish.
The first step, is to pick which account you want to be the “owner”. The owner account will have the rights to the controller, and will have more access such as who else can see the controller in their account.
Using the owner account, you can now SHARE the account to as many accounts as you wish.
You can share it to your spouse, other family members, or even share it temporarily to someone that is looking after your home while you are away on vacation. This is also a great solution in instances where you are renting your home or using it as a vacation property (such as AirBNB or VRBO).
Another option that a lot of our customers take, is to just share an account on more than one device. You can log in to a WATTS account on many different devices at the same time. So for example, a husband and wife can both use the same account, on their own devices at the same time.
