Process

How To Fix A Warrantable Issue

If you’re experiencing an issue with your system, your first step should be to contact the Certified Contractor that originally installed it. They are best equipped to assess the problem and, if necessary, will coordinate directly with us for additional support. If you’re unsure who your original installer was, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us directly.

  • Product Coverage: The manufacturer’s warranty covers confirmed product failures only. If the issue is determined to be a result of a manufacturing defect, replacement parts may be issued at Watts’ discretion.
  • Service Charges: Any visit from your local contractor will involve a service charge, which is the customer’s responsibility, unless the Certified Contractor who installed your system has a labor warranty that was provided to you.
  • Labor Warranty: Each contractor offers their own labor warranty. If your issue is related to installation or labor, it will be handled directly by the contractor under their own warranty policy.
  • Installation Issues: Installation-related problems are not covered under the manufacturer’s warranty, as certified contractors are independently owned businesses. Their work falls outside the scope of manufacturer responsibility.

We’re here to support you and your contractor to ensure your system is working as it should. If you have any questions about what’s covered or how to proceed, feel free to contact us.
